Growing Roots, Sharing Knowledge

Once upon a thyme (pre-2020), Farm to Table Peterborough was all about walking, talking, and tasting your way through downtown’s culinary gems. Nine sold-out seasons of culinary tours later, the world changed—and so did we.

Moving to a two-acre property in City of Kawartha Lakes, we’ve been busy setting up our own gardens, nursery beds, and even a small sugar bush. We’ve also been busy with some of our other professional endeavours.

But the mission never left: connect people to place through food, plants, and knowledge. We’ve just shifted gears a little.

What I’m Doing Now

After a quiet stretch (and a whole lot of growing), I’m back—and available for:

🍓 Community Workshops
Whether it’s food preservation, growing edibles, or understanding your local food system, I can design and deliver hands-on sessions tailored to your group.

📣 Communications Help for Growers and Food Businesses
Need help telling your story, refining your message, or connecting with your community? With years of experience in media, food writing, and storytelling, I offer consulting and content creation that helps your values shine through.

🌿 Native & Edible Plant Sales
We’re propagating native trees, shrubs, perennials, forest plants, and fruit-bearing varieties (raspberry, blueberry, serviceberry, currants, and more) right here on our rural Kawartha Lakes property. As plants become available, they’ll be offered for sale—perfect for home gardeners, ecological restoration, or building a more resilient backyard food forest.

Farm to Table Peterborough and the Kawartha Lakes Plant List

As we grow and prepare stock, new plants, particularly native plants will become available. We are currently in the process of clearing garden and nursery space and have the following available, by email request only:

Hostas
Lungwort
Black-eyed Susan
Evening Primrose
Black Currant
Raspberry
Orange Day Lily
Ostrich Fern

(Note, Hostas and Lungwort will only be available for a limited time as we clear out existing gardens. We will not be propagating stock of either)

Let’s Connect

If you’re looking to collaborate, host a workshop, get help with your farm or food business comms, or want to be notified when plants are available for sale—drop me a line.

Let’s keep growing—together.
